Online Exam T&C
The Online Exam Terms & Conditions menu is used to set and display official regulations that must be followed by all online-based exam participants. This feature ensures that the exam process is conducted fairly, orderly, and in accordance with the academic integrity standards applicable at the school.
1. Main Functions
- Provides written guidelines that must be read and agreed upon by the exam participants before taking the online exam.
- Regulates technical and administrative provisions related to the exam implementation.
- Ensures participants understand their rights and obligations during the exam.
2. Structure and Content
Typically, the Online Exam Terms & Conditions document contains:
- Introduction
Contains a statement that participants are considered to have read, understood, and agreed to all applicable terms without coercion from any party. - General Participant Requirements
Example:- Participants must be students who are registered and active at the exam organizing institution.
- Participants are required to use official accounts provided by the institution to access the exam.
- Participants must prepare devices (laptop/PC/tablet) with adequate specifications, a stable internet connection, and supporting applications as required (browser, Zoom, etc.).
- Technical Provisions (optional, depending on school policy)
- Exam schedule.
- Duration of the exam.
- Regulations on the use of cameras/microphones.
- Disciplinary Provisions and Sanctions (optional)
- Prohibition of cheating and its consequences.
- Sanctions for violations of exam provisions.
3. How to Manage Terms & Conditions
- Go to the Settings menu → Online Exam Terms & Conditions.
- Use the text editor to type or modify the terms and conditions content.
- Format the text with available features (bold, italic, lists, etc.) to make it easy to read.
- Once finished, click Save to update the provisions.
